It's been quite some time since I've been on this blog. I've been busy with school and my new Etsy Shop that I just opened a month ago. Most of my free time has been crafting wreaths, so today I took some time and decorated my front porch - can't really call it a porch though, more of a landing. I have been dying to get a sled and decorate it. I was lucky enough to find 3 actually. I kept two and gave one to my mom. The sled pictured I purchased last weekend at an antique show for $18.00 and the skates for $12.00. The greenery bucket came from Home Depot $29.00 (more than I wanted to spend, but it was so darn cute.) I have a real evergreen swag behind the skates on the sled that I picked up at Walmart for less than $5.00. The skates are filled with berries, and pine floral sprays I picked up at AC Moore and the little snowflakes were less than $2.00 at Walmart in their Christmas Ornament section. I love the way this turned out. The lantern is one I had just sitting in my garage waiting for a project. I just added a spray from AC Moore. I purchased the ribbons from Costco for $6.89/spool and made the ribbons from that. The spool is 50 yards of ribbon, so I have more than enough for more projects.
